Dear friends,
Yourson Contracting has been a proud part of the Valley community for over 25 years. As the day-to-day remodeling of our homes and routines change in response to COVID-19, we’re reaching out to you, our neighbors, with assurance and thoughtfulness.
Safety and cleanliness are always a top priority on any construction site. Throughout the duration of this COVID-19 outbreak, our team is committed to taking extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of our customers and crew members.
Our staff is going to extreme measures to ensure a sanitary workplace both at the office and on a job site. Every day our team shows up in essential PPE (masks, gloves, and safety glasses). We begin every morning by disinfecting all the work vehicles, power tools, and trafficked areas in the workshop.
Every week our team conducts a safety meeting to review personal protective equipment and official guidelines provided by the CDC regarding COVID-19. Our crews have been instructed to wear masks and gloves at all times, maintain safe distances, and sanitize surfaces on a regular basis. At the end of each project, we have the home professionally cleaned for good measure.
We understand that normal quarantine or distancing procedures are more difficult if your home is currently undergoing a renovation project. To help minimize the risks during an ongoing home construction project, the following precautions will take place:
• In general, homeowners and their families should try to avoid the construction areas whenever possible until the project has been completed and sanitized properly.
• During the construction process, it is essential to create plastic barriers around the work area. This is to not only ensure proper dust control but also acts as a proper barrier between homeowners and a dangerous construction site. These floor-to-ceiling plastic coverings will also help prevent the possible spread of airborne particles including COVID-19.
• Any crew member who feels sick is instructed to stay home for a minimum of two weeks. Projects will continue so long as all crew members are adhering to cleanliness policies such as periodic hand washing, wearing gloves and masks, and maintaining a safe distance from homeowners and one another.
Know that we are actively monitoring the situation and taking guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other public health experts. Our core value to “Always do the right thing” means that today – and every day – we will do all we can to be there for you when you need us.
As we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation, we are still offering online or phone call consultations with a design specialist during COVID.
Respectfully,
Yourson Contracting LLC
